EVERY LITTLE HELPS

At Mud-Rugs we try hard to do our bit for our community and we encourage our friends, family and clients to do the same.

We take the view that every little bit helps and all those little bits of help can add up to something great.

It costs Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance £2500.oo to mount up and fly to the rescue every time someone calls 999 and needs their help. As equestrians ourselves we know how many of us have friends who’ve experienced that unplanned dismount somewhere off the beaten track, where only our horses can go; and how important it is for help to get their quickly.

We’d like to help keep Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance in the air  because helping them helps us.

The Air Ambulance gets no direct government funding. The money to keep them in the air comes from you and me.

The Air Ambulance Volunteer Team is approximately 500-strong. A lot of whom commit their time because the team helped a friend or relative.

The Ambucopter responds to some of the most serious life-threatening and time-critical 999 calls in Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire. They do so 365 days a year.

Based at RAF Waddington the Ambucopter crew currently consists of two Pilots, two Co-Pilots, five Paramedics and a team of Doctors

To some of us 9% of missions may not seem a lot, but when we last checked that was 9% of 18911 missions; potentially saving around 1700 horse riders.
